As a queer woman who practices polyamory, I can understand how we are often unprepared for the difficulties that arise when living in a mononormative society. It makes sense that emotions like fear or depression are brought up when we go outside of those norms, even for the seasoned consensually nonmonogamous folks. Together we can navigate your polyamorous relationship structure if you or you and your partner(s) find yourselves with insecure attachment styles impacting your relationship(s), are having difficulty managing boundaries, or need help dismantling couple's privilege. You deserve to feel accepted, valued, and back in charge of your own life. With our work individually or as a relationship with your partner(s), you will find that you'll be able to express your emotions clearly to the people in your life, advocate for your needs and wants more effectively, and as a result find yourself feeling less stress. Please reach out to me if any of this resonated with you. You can have a healthy, fulfilling life while practicing polyamory and I am here to help you achieve that. Please email me so we can set up a free phone consultation to talk in more detail about what your wants and needs are.

I had a hard time finding a therapist that thought like me when I was a younger. As a member of the LGBT+ community, it is important to me that my clients know I hear the ways that the world is not built for them. Our work in therapy is to find ways to get your needs met in an often unaccommodating or misunderstanding world. I recognize the power of your experiences and how relationships (healthy & unhealthy) can define your perspective on yourself and others. Building a trusting rapport with you as your therapist is my top priority. Together we can make sense of what happened, your reactions, and how to reclaim a sense of self, safety, and belonging in the world by your own definition. ‍ I am a pre-licensed clinician based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under supervision of multiple licensed clinicians.

I love being a therapist and helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of, and connection to, themselves and others. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship based on acceptance, trust, and empathic understanding, where individuals feel safe, heard, valued and empowered to heal and make the positive changes for which they desire. I use a variety of methods in my work, including relational, cognitive, behavioral, and emotion-focused interventions in an integrative fashion to address each person's unique concerns. With children, I incorporate developmentally-sensitive interventions and mediums for self-expression. I offer treatment for a variety of concerns, inc. stress, anxiety, depression, identity and adjustment concerns, and relationship issues. I specialize in treating survivors of interpersonal trauma and have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and various forms of childhood maltreatment. IOP Sanare Today is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides group treatment for individuals in crisis or who are struggling with maintaining emotional stability. We offer both mental health and substance use groups. Groups are held 4 days a week to provide more support and direction than traditional outpatient care. IOP groups are provided separately for adolescents and adults. The IOP is an effective step down transition for individuals coming out of a hospital or as a preventive measure to inpatient treatment. Each group session runs for 2 ¼ hours. Family support groups are scheduled weekly or every other week. Sanare Today offers day and evening programs in several different office locations. Life Coaching Sanare Today also offers life coaching. Sanare Today Life Coaching provides guidance for day to day living as well as therapeutic technique implementation. It involves working with adolescents and adults struggling to thrive at their ideal capacity. The core process involves mainly individual, but at times, group sessions. The coaching plan is determined through the collaboration of the client, the coach and the referring provider (if applicable). Each session runs for a total of 60 minutes, unless predetermined otherwise. Sanare Today Life Coaching is designed for individuals who would benefit from more experiential services instead of, or in addition to, traditional mental health or substance use treatment. Life coaching is an effective step down from the intensive outpatient program and an effective addition to individual, one-on-one treatment.

You may be feeling that what you find anxiety-provoking, maddening, and depressing keeps appearing in your life. Without having an awareness of your unconscious processes, your deepest fears will continue manifesting in your relationships, friendships, work, and hobbies. Jared specializes in a range of techniques to bring compassion, confidence, and courage to exploration of the stories that generate daily experience. For Jared, committing to a non-pathologizing, psychodynamic approach means finding the thrill of meaning in every stuck point. The framing of therapy as an effort of "illness management" and "symptom control" is not only disheartening, it is ineffective. Specializing in addiction has led Jared to an understanding of the gift in any experience, even when it seems to be unambiguously bad, wrong, and destructive. The holistic perspective dictates that our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical reactions are always wise. Conversations with Jared reveal hidden personality parts that have long yearned for knowledge of and conversation with your highest Self. He is a devoted guide to all the corners of your cognition and character, excited to bring your desires to light and share with you how to embrace everything you are and have.

WARNING: HIGHLY INTERACTIVE THERAPIST! I work with clients 13+ from a wide range of genders and backgrounds. Most of my clients are dealing with some combination of anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or questions about sexuality and gender. Many are coming out of their first big break up or first major loss. I have a particular focus in “men’s” issues, relationships and couples work, and on addressing topics we were never taught to explore — namely sexuality and grief. Some of my clients are deeply religious others are atheists. Some have never dated others are active BDSMers. My style is highly interactive. We’ll work to address faulty beliefs and longstanding BS. Together, we can talk about anything from anxiety to compulsive porn use, from kink to grief. I have a particular focus in “men’s” issues, couples counseling, and grief. I won’t promise you’ll “find happiness.” That would be like trying to sell you keys to your own car. All I promise is to be your teammate. If what you seek is a combination of empathy and strength, a nonjudgmental space, an emphasis on connection over analysis, and a confidant who will not waver then I invite you to book a consultation below.

Okay, let me guess — life feels like a lot right now. You’re overwhelmed, drained, and stuck in patterns that just aren’t working anymore. Maybe you’re questioning your relationships, struggling at work, or wondering why you feel so disconnected. That glass of whiskey, wine, or weed isn’t helping like it used to. With nearly 20 years of experience, I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you process difficult emotions, release what’s weighing you down, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll create a path toward feeling more grounded and at peace. I help people work through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and feeling emotionally drained. ART helps resolve distressing memories quickly, while IFS helps you understand and care for the parts of yourself that feel stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is compassionate and direct — focused on helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life. You don’t have to figure it out alone. While you might not feel it right now, you know you’re ready for change. I’d be honored to support you as you take the first step toward relief and clarity. I’m out-of-network with insurance, but we can explore ways to make it work. You’re worth the effort — reach out when you’re ready.
