I take a holistic approach to healing, focusing on Psychotherapy, In my 15 years of experience working with people diagnosed with mental illnesses, and severe traumas, I observed that treatments often ignored holistic methods to healing. Through listening, caring, and working together with my clients, I recognized that some emotional and psychological issues are often managed by initiating small life changes and making healthier choices. My goal and passion is to assist and empower my clients to identify the changes they choose to make to have the life they have desired. I will assist them in achieving their goals while supporting them as they carry out their plans to live a healthier life. Please notes sessions can be face to face or virtual.

Welcome to my Practice! As a professional who is visually impaired, I have learned, with the help of my guide dog Faith, to literally transform obstacles into opportunities! I can help you too as I help students and professionals who may feel overwhelmed due to ADHD or learning differences, anxiety, depression and/or relationship issues. Perhaps you are plagued by perfection or performance anxiety. Together we will prioritize problems for which you'd like help. You will learn strategies, tools and techniques for crushing your negative thoughts. If you are struggling with social or other types of anxiety, you will also learn effective ways to move through it so you can feel confident and take back control of your emotions and ability to do the things in your life that are important and enble you to thrive. Finally, this will lead to living the life you were meant to, with joy and happiness. If you'd like to improve your communication skills and have greater closeness and intimacy, regardless of the type of relationship, I will teach you strategies to bring you closer to those with whom you care most. I am CBT Certified, and a trained couples and family therapist. I am also an ADHD/Life and Integrative Nutrition Coach. Feel free to reach out with any questions and/or for an initial consultation to see if we are a good match. I am currently seeing clients via tele therapy.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in anxiety, life transitions, and relationship concerns for adolescents and adults. Over nearly four years of clinical work, I've had the privilege of sitting with teens and adults through some of life's more difficult stretches: the anxiety that won't quiet down, the relationship stress that follows you everywhere, the emotional weight that builds when you can't quite figure out why you keep ending up in the same place. If you're someone who thinks deeply about yourself and your life but still finds it hard to break certain patterns, you're not alone. Many of the people I work with are self-aware and motivated; they just need a space where insight can turn into real, lasting change. I offer the evidence-based treatment that helps you explore the deeper patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Above all, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more confident as you move through the world. I look forward to being a genuine partner in that process. Therapy works best when it feels honest, collaborative, and equal parts reflective and actionable. When we work together, you can expect a space that is both supportive and candid, somewhere we can get curious about what's bringing you in while also building practical tools to help you move forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), schema therapy, and relationally informed approaches, weaving them together in a way that fits who you are rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. My style is warm, direct, and a little reflective. I'll ask questions that help you see yourself more clearly, and also help you figure out what to actually do with what you discover. Whether you're looking to better understand your patterns, strengthen how you cope with stress, or simply feel more like yourself again, I'll tailor the work to where you are and where you want to go. My path to this work has been shaped in equal parts by where I come from personally and where I've been professionally. Early in my career, I worked at a pediatric neuropsychology clinic serving primarily Latinx families in Washington Heights, where I saw up close how systemic barriers can complicate access to care and add invisible weight to the challenges people are already carrying. That experience left a real mark on me, and strengthened my commitment to showing up in a way that is culturally sensitive, genuinely client-centered, and attuned to the broader context of your life. Growing up in the South Bronx gave me something no classroom could: a deep respect for the resilience of underserved communities and an honest understanding of the very real obstacles many individuals and families face. Both experiences continue to inform how I practice and how I show up for you in the therapy room. Outside of session, I'm usually deep in a telenovela, working through my Nintendo Switch 2 games, sweating through a [solidcore] class, or adding more books to an endless to-be-read reading list. I believe a full life outside the therapy room makes for a better therapist inside it.

We are a team of therapists who work with students and young adults navigating stress, identity, and the feeling of having to hold everything together. Many of the students we support are balancing different expectations from family, culture, and their own goals. Some feel caught between different worlds, while others find themselves overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling disconnected from who they are. As a team, we are especially attuned to the experiences of students from multicultural, international, and Asian or Asian American backgrounds. We understand how identity, family dynamics, and expectations can shape the way you move through the world. In this Kind Space, your voice is valued, your story is honored, and every part of you is welcomed. Together, we work to uncover what matters most, address challenges in a way that feels authentic, and build strategies that help you feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to yourself.

Let’s be honest. Underneath that polished veneer, the cracks are starting to show. You’ve tried handling them yourself, because that’s who you are – independent, resourceful, and always able to take care of yourself. But the spackle is breaking. Who are you if not that characterization of success, living up to the expectations set by your parents, friends, and middle school basketball coach? Maybe those cracks are the result of you running full speed against a wall, again and again. If you’re ready to find another way around the wall, I'm your person. Let’s be honest. Underneath that polished veneer, the cracks are starting to show. You’ve tried handling them yourself, because that’s who you are – independent, resourceful, and always able to take care of yourself. I specialize in helping people with low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD, men’s issues, and improving communication/boundaries. My goal is to unravel the complicated, call out the excuses we tell ourselves, and support you in identifying the barriers holding you back from living the life you really want to live. Because you're you, you could probably continue pushing through on your own. But you don’t want to keep the status quo. You want growth, improvement, to find the best version of yourself. So let’s start there. When you're ready to get some help, please reach out to me or visit my website to learn more about how I work.

Welcome! I am a clinical psychologist and drama therapist, seeing individuals and couples in New York. I work with adults and teens ages 15+. Clients I work with are often seeking to reduce distress, trust themselves more, and feel more equipped in their life journeys. A primary aim of treatment is to increase self-awareness and connection to the body, freeing a more expansive self, and allowing old patterns and obstacles (i.e. emotional avoidance, self-criticism) to melt away. Therapy can help reveal how your past is impacting your present, which often leads to self-compassion, and healing and change in the present. Perhaps you are wanting to feel more comfortable with the unknown, whether that be challenging emotions, uncertainty about the future, or existential questions, like what is the meaning of my one precious life? We are living through uncertain times collectively and individually, and therapy with me is a space where these questions are welcomed. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of healing, and I show up in the room with warmth and authenticity. My approach is integrative. I have advanced training in an attachment-based psychodynamic approach called Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy, and in experiential, creative, somatic-based approaches including drama therapy and internal family systems. I also practice mindfulness and am an artist myself, and this informs the work I do. My approach is person-centered, which means I adapt treatment based on the unique individual(s) I am sitting with. I have extensive experience in working with LGBTQ+ clients, those with a history of trauma, folks navigating illness, and other healers and artists. I am part of Mount Sinai Health Partners, and remain involved in training of doctoral trainees at Mount Sinai. I am presently on the faculty of the NYU Masters in Drama Therapy program, and was previously an Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry Department at Mount Sinai. I have worked and trained in hospitals, including in adult and adolescent transgender healthcare, in outpatient centers, Veterans hospitals, and counseling centers.
