Therapists for college students near Harvard University
These days, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed — anxious, angry, stuck, or just plain exhausted. If that’s where you are, you’re not alone. And your experience matters. Just because others are struggling too doesn’t make your pain any less real. Maybe your mind won’t stop racing. Maybe you feel out of control, trapped in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward. I’ve worked with many people navigating these same waters — helping them find steadier ground, soften anxiety and anger, and reconnect with their creativity, clarity, and relationships. In therapy, you don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to perform. You just have to show up as you are. I offer a grounded, compassionate space where we move at your pace. You bring what’s real — and together, we explore it with honesty and care. Whether you’re looking for support, growth, or space to breathe, our work is about learning to relate to yourself differently — with more freedom, more awareness, and more trust in your own way forward.
Your voice and perspective as a woman or girl are celebrated here. This is a dedicated space where you can be comfortable discussing female centered topics and experiences. I believe that social interactions, societal stresses and unique biology impact girls and women in ways that require a female centered lens for mental health treatment. Coming to therapy knowing this is a specialized practice can lead to greater comfort exploring trauma and female specific issues. These deeper conversations build the therapeutic alliance and increase the potential that women and girls will see improvement in their mental health symptoms
Having spent part of my life in Europe and Africa, my background helps me work with a diverse range of clients - from college students and veterans to corporate employees and expats. I am a clinical psychologist and cultural psychologist (Rutgers, PsyD; Harvard, BA) with 19 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults. My specialties include depression, trauma, and anxiety as well as stress, life transitions, cultural adjustment, and relationship issues. I am a caring, interactive therapist and use an integrative approach (ACT, CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness techniques) to provide you with a safe space to heal and practice new tools as you reset your life compass. I see therapy as a gift to yourself: making time to build knowledge, awareness, and compassion, try new behaviors, and improve your quality of life. Change is possible at any age if there is courage, flexibility, willingness, and action. I also believe that a variety of things can help us heal and enrich our lives (e.g. music, sports, nature, friendships). I look forward to starting this chapter of compassion, healing, and growth with you and invite you to schedule a free consultation today.
Currently accepting new clients starting September 2025. Life can be difficult with challenges that get thrown our way. I work with adults 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, relationship concerns, trauma, and more. I value meeting the client where they are at and assisting them in discovering their strengths. It is important that an individual has a warm and safe space and that is one of my main goals to provide to others. I am licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I utilize a person-centered approach mixed with CBT to focus on providing unconditional positive regard and respect while guiding clients through life stressors, traumas, emotional regulation, and finding the right coping techniques for you. I want to thank you and tell you how proud I am that you took the first step in prioritizing yourself. I invite you to take this next step in your journey to healing.

I am trained in a variety of evidence based treatment modalities including mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma informed treatment. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career as a clinical social worker including outpatient community mental health, hospital based social work, emergency services, public health, and substance use prevention and treatment with clients of all ages. I understand that the process of seeking and coming to therapy is not an easy one and that the vulnerability of therapy can be intimidating. It can be difficult to step into vulnerability in a world that equates vulnerability with weakness. However, I hope to redefine strength, as most healing comes from raw, unfiltered moments of self-reflection and honesty, and it is through seeking out the help to heal that courage is displayed. Imagine a life where struggles become steppingstones and every hurdle leads to personal growth. At one point, we all seek out a compass to help navigate through the journey of life. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I find it important to identify the source of your difficulties and then use evidence-based treatments to reduce distress and help you live a more fulfilling life. My approach to treatment is most consistent with the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT); although I integrate different techniques to fit each client’s needs. I am committed to helping adults learn how to better understand themselves and their relationships with others. Whether your struggles have been present for a long time or are new, I value understanding your perspective and unique emotional experience so that we can create a trusting therapeutic relationship. I value honesty, integrity, and transparency to promote trust building within the therapeutic relationship to help bring about personal growth. To promote success, we must be a good fit for each other. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals with different concerns, including depression/mood disorders, anxiety, anger, sleep problems, substance use, interpersonal communication, relationships, and more. I also recognize that not all psychological pain can be considered “disordered” and may sometimes be a side effect of the human condition. So, whatever brings you to therapy I am happy to work collaboratively with you to make a treatment plan based on evidence-based treatments to give you the best opportunity for therapeutic success. I will then work with you to tailor a treatment plan that is unique to your background, experiences, and goals. Whatever challenges you face, I am here to be an unbiased outlet to support and guide you toward a more meaningful life. If making the call is difficult, I encourage you to contact me through other methods, such as email or message, if you have questions or want to schedule a time to meet.

I’m so glad you're here! If masking, people-pleasing, code-switching, avoiding, isolating (and everything in between) has been your way of managing your anxiety, here is a space where we create a calm place for you to be your authentic self. Come with quirks, emotions, humor, cursing, and even your crafts, this is your space. All that in stride, I understand that the path to finding your true self can be complex and sometimes daunting. But rest assured, you don’t have to do it alone. Here, therapy is not just about addressing issues; it's about celebrating who you are and who you’re becoming. So bring every part of you into the room. I’m here to listen, understand, and help you thrive.
Emotions are normal, even hard to handle ones. Struggling is normal; it’s all part of the human experience. I’m here to teach you and empower you to manage and cope with strong emotions, stressors, and hardships. Through our time together, you will learn about the mind and how it connects with the body, and how to apply this knowledge to feel better. I specialize in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis involving addiction and mental illness, positive psychology, and holistic healing. The mind is a powerful tool. With specific therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, (changing one’s thoughts to then change one’s emotions and behaviors), we can restructure our brain to operate in a more optimal manner, resulting in less stress, anxiety and depression symptoms, and more meaning, joy and fulfillment. With my therapeutic expertise, concrete tools, empathy, and compassion, I will guide you towards the best version of yourself who is better equipped to handle life’s stressors and make positive changes.
